Modern image formats (AVIF or WebP) can improve compression by up to 50% and deliver better quality per-byte while still looking visually appealing.
Examples for the default banner form nopcommerce:
0000077_banner_1.jpg - 62659 - JPEG

How does plugin work?
The plugin doesn't change the native pictures in databases. The plugin created the new copy of pictures in WebP or AVIF formats.
If a browser is capable of displaying AVIF or WebP images, the browser adds the accept header automatically. In return the content-type header in the response shows the corresponding image format. The file ending (.jpg in the example above) will not change. In case a browser doesn’t know AVIF or WebP, the JPEG asset is delivered the same way as before.
Unregistered version is fully operational. Only 30 days trial period.
Compatible with NopCommerce 4.80, 4.70, 4.60, 4.50, 4.40, 4.30, 4.20, 4.10.
