How It Works
- Configure filter levels — in the admin panel under FoxNetSoft > Spare Parts > Filter Levels, name each of the up to 5 filter levels (for example: Year, Brand, Model, Engine) and enter the corresponding values. Enable dynamic filtering on any level to make it depend on the parent selection.
- Build your vehicle catalog — under FoxNetSoft > Spare Parts > Vehicles, create vehicles by assigning a filter-level value for each level. Use CSV import to load large datasets at once.
- Map products to vehicles — open any vehicle record and add compatible products using the product picker, or open a product in the standard product editor and use the injected Spare Parts tab to assign it to vehicles. CSV import is also available for bulk mapping.
- Enable the search page link — in the plugin settings, choose whether to display the Search Spare Parts link in the top menu and/or footer columns.
- Customers search for parts — shoppers visit the search page, select their vehicle step by step through the cascading dropdowns, and receive a filtered list of compatible products.
- Compatibility shown on product pages — when the product detail widget is enabled, the list of vehicles a product fits is displayed directly on the product page, helping customers confirm the right choice before buying.
