Automate Order Exports from Your nopCommerce Store

FoxNetSoft Order Manager is a nopCommerce plugin that automates the export of store order data into structured files — CSV, TXT, XLSX, or XML — on a schedule or on demand. It gives store administrators full control over what data is exported, how it is formatted, and where the output files are delivered.

Whether you need to feed order data into an ERP system, a fulfillment provider, a marketplace back-end, or an accounting tool, Order Manager removes the manual steps. You define named export templates with their own filters, column mappings, schedules, and delivery destinations, and the plugin takes care of the rest automatically.

Key Benefits

  • Save time on repetitive export work. Scheduled exports run automatically without any manual intervention from your team.
  • Send the right data to every system. Each export template has its own column mapping, so the output file always matches the format expected by your downstream system.
  • Filter orders precisely. Narrow exports by store, warehouse, vendor, manufacturer, and any combination of order, payment, or shipping statuses.
  • Deliver files directly where they are needed. Save exports to a server folder or upload them automatically to an FTP or FTPS endpoint — no manual download required.
  • Run multiple independent exports in parallel. Maintain separate templates with separate schedules for different business functions without conflict.
  • Stay in control with a full audit log. Every export run — scheduled or manual — is recorded with its result status, so you can quickly spot and investigate any issues.

Main Features

  • Multiple named export templates. Create, copy, edit, and delete as many export templates as your workflows require. Each template is fully independent.
  • Four output formats. Export orders as CSV, TXT, XLSX, or XML. Format settings — encoding, column delimiter, field enclosure, decimal delimiter, and datetime format — are configurable per template.
  • Flexible column mapping. Choose which data fields to include and define the destination column name for each. Source fields span Orders, Order Items, Products, Billing and Shipping Addresses, Store, Vendor, Manufacturer, Warehouse, and more. XML exports support XPath expressions for nested element placement.
  • Powerful order filters. Filter by store, warehouse, manufacturer, vendor, order status, payment status, and shipping status (all multi-select). Time-interval options include a fixed date range, last N days, last N hours, or the previous calendar month.
  • Flexible file delivery. Choose between browser download, saving to a server folder, or automatic upload to an FTP or FTPS server. ZIP compression is available for all delivery methods. Filenames support dynamic date and time tokens.
  • Per-template scheduler. Enable an automatic schedule for any template, selecting specific days of the week, days of the month, and times of day. An Export Now button is also available for immediate on-demand export from the template edit page.
  • Export execution log. A searchable report log records every export run with a Success, Warning, or Error classification. Logs can be filtered by date range, level, and template, and can be bulk-deleted when no longer needed.
  • FTP/FTPS connection test. Validate FTP and FTPS credentials directly from the template edit page before relying on them for automated delivery.

Why Buy This Plugin

Building a custom order export integration requires significant development effort — modeling the data, handling file formats, managing schedules, and maintaining the code as nopCommerce evolves. Order Manager delivers all of this out of the box, with a configuration-driven interface that store administrators can manage without writing a single line of code. It eliminates repetitive manual exports, reduces the risk of human error, and shortens the integration timeline from weeks of development to a single afternoon of setup.

  • No custom development needed for filtering, formatting, or file delivery.
  • Multiple export targets can be configured and running on the same day the plugin is installed.
  • The built-in scheduler and concurrent-execution protection ensure reliable, unattended operation.
  • The audit log provides visibility into every export, making it straightforward to diagnose and resolve issues.

How It Works

  1. Create an export template. In the nopCommerce admin area under FoxNetSoft > Order Manager > Templates, add a new template and give it a descriptive name.
  2. Choose your output format and file settings. Select CSV, TXT, XLSX, or XML as the output format, then configure encoding, delimiters, datetime format, filename tokens, and optional ZIP compression.
  3. Set your order filters. Choose which store, warehouse, vendor, manufacturer, order statuses, payment statuses, and shipping statuses should be included, and define the time interval for the export window.
  4. Map your columns. Add the data fields you need from any supported entity — order details, product info, addresses, and more — and define the column names that match your downstream system's expectations.
  5. Configure file delivery. Set the export to save to a server folder, upload to an FTP or FTPS server, or use the browser download option. Use the connection test button to verify FTP credentials before saving.
  6. Schedule or export on demand. Enable the scheduler and pick the days and times for automatic export, or click Export Now for an immediate run. Review all results in the Report log at any time.
