How can I show the full description inside _PagestBlock.cshtml?

As per title.
If I try to change

@Html.Raw(item.ShortDescription)

into

@Html.Raw(item.FullDescription)

I get an error

This is an object with a short message of the full text.
Why couldn't you set the short description in the nop admin mode?
